Consuelo Martin Jorge, known as Consuelo
Reyes, who was born in Spain, started after
several years of practise under the leadership of her father, Tito Reyes, her
artistic career at the age of 16 in CIRCUS HAGENBECK (Germany), as the third
generation in her family dedicating her life to the circus world.
Only a few
years later, Consuelo won for two consecutive years the CIRCUS WORLD
CHAMPIONSHIP in London, and she became famous as the "queen of the
antipode artists".
  
Since then
she has worked in some of the best circuses in Europe, amongst others in:
CIRCUS
RONCALLI, Germany, CIRCUS BENNEWEIS, Denmark,
NORWEGIAN NATIONAL-CIRCUS MERANO, Norway, CIRCO AMERICANO-TOGNI, Italy and
CIRQUE ARLETTE GRUSS, France.
  
Lately she
has appeared mostly in varieties like:
WINTERGARTEN VARIETÉ Berlin, TIGERPALAST VARIETÉ Frankfurt/Main,
RONCALLI’S APOLLO VARIETÉ Düsseldorf, FRIEDRICHSBAU
VARIETÉ Stuttgart, OPERA FRANKFURT in Germany and SOUTH CITY JUNIOR CASINO
Sidney in Australia and many more, …
  
She has
also appeared in several television shows:
“SABATO
AL CIRCO”, and “BUONA DOMENICA”, Channel 5, Italy, “LE PLUS GRAND
CABARET DU MONDE”, Antenne 2, France, “NOCHE DE LAS ESTRELLAS”,
Channel 3, Chile, EURO VISION, ITV, Ireland, etc.
  
Consuelo has now been married to the bicycle
artist Paolo Bogino, and she is mother of Selyna, Danyel and Mylena.
