
Without any apparatus, the Kotsuba Family, father
Sergei, mother Vera and their son Seriojsha manage to perform pure and firstclass
handvoltige acrobatics combined with jumps, pirouettes and exact summersaults in an
original variation.
Sergei Urievich, Kotsuba is descendent from a family of
circus-artistes in Russia. His career as artist acrobat began in 1960, at the age of nine.
Eventually, as he married Vera Voronina, they performed an artistic duet of partner equilibristic combined with
handvoltige acrobatic.
In 1988, together with his son Seriojsha he created a handvoltige acrobatic act of high
professional quality, which the following achievements can prove: "Golden Medal"
and "Prix special de President de la Republique" at the Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain in Paris, France and
"Silver Clown" award at the International
Circus-Festival of Monte-Carlo.
In 1993, for his exceptional artistic merits,
Sergei U. Kotsuba being awarded "Honoured Artiste of Russia".
Sergei Sergeevich, Kotsuba - Seriojsha had once attended his school's courses of arts in Moscow. During this period, his
father trained him to enter the area of equilibristic/ handbalancing and parterre/dynamic acrobatics.
At the age of 13 he began his artistic career performing together with his father. At
the moment, he even presents a handstand-equilibristic
act on apparatus.

Vera Alexsandrovna, Voronina spouse and
mother, has in her youth practised acrobatic gymnastics and obtained the title "Master
of Sports" and in 1968 she was the "Champion of URSS".
In 1969 she started performing professionally as an artiste acrobat, member of the
Russian State-Circus Company "Soiuzgoszirk", presenting a
handstand-equilibristic act on apparatus.
In 1973, together with her husband Sergei Urievich they started presenting an act of
partner equilibristics, and then in 1988 even their son Sergei Sergeevich is introduced in
the act.
