NICO, Star-Clown,
citizen name Andrei Nikolaevich NIKOLAEV , was the apprentice of the famous Russian
Clowns Karandasch and Oleg Popov.
After examination from the Circus School in Moscow, he became officially a clown at the
age of 17.
The now 60 year old all rounder among the best
clowns has even studied theatredirection and is today active as a professor at the
Theatre Academy in Moscow.
Nico use
skillfully the traditional as well as modern elements of the clown-art.
He has been awarded "Honored Artist of Russia"
caries also the price " The Golden Grock Mask".
Nico, with his over 40 years long career as a representative of the Russian State
Circus has managed to make people laugh on five continents.
