
The VOROBIEV TROUPE got its name from Vitali
Fillipovitch VOROBIEV, the founder of the present act.
In 1967, Vitali finished his studies at the Circus School in Moscow, and stared
performing a "Handvoltige Acrobatic" act. During the years 1968-86, he worked in
different places around the world, such as Japan, South America and Australia. In 1987,
after four years of study, Vitali graduated from the Academy "Art at Circus"
in Moscow,
1988, he received the award "Honored Artist of RussiaHonored
Between 1991-93, Vitali developed the current performance "Acrobatic
on Russian Swings".
In 1996, at the
XXth INTERNATIONAL
CIRCUS-FESTIVAL OF MONTE-CARLO, the act was awarded the "Silver-Clown".
In the winter of 96-97, the troupe performed at the ROYAL THEATRE
CARRE in Amsterdam, followed by an engagement in Japan, at TIVOLI
COPENHAGEN and at BILLY SMARTS BIG-TOP CIRCUS in London
(1997) and in the summer-season 1998 at CASCADE:circus in Utrecht, the Netherlands.
